Cookie of the Week (and contest!)

The bakers at Delish sure do love their cupcakes, but they also love cookies!  Both Chelsea and Jessica enjoy coming up with different cookie varieties and flavors.  However, as one might expect,  we do not always have the same tastes or desires when it comes to a cookie.  Jessica likes a cookie that has a lot of substance while Chelsea likes a more crunchy cookie.  While we do offer our standard cookies every day (oatmeal cranberry, oatmeal chocolate chip, snickerdoodle, and chocolate chip), we thought that by providing a special cookie every week we would get a chance to each make some of our “ideal” cookies and get a chance to see what our customers really like.

This week’s cookie is an oatmeal cookie with apricot and white chocolate chips.  We used our standard oatmeal cookie recipe as the base for this cookie as we know and love it.  We then added some dried apricots and white chocolate chips and voila! We had created a cookie that was both hearty and a little crispy around the edges.  Come into the store this week to try it out!
